The Blackwing Volume 143 Frida Kahlo Pencils are a set of 12 soft-graphite pencils created as a tribute to the Mexican artist. Each pencil carries a floral design inspired by Kahlo’s iconic imagery and her use of bold, vibrant color. The volume number references the 143 paintings commonly attributed to her. It is a thoughtful desk set with a clear story behind every pencil.
It can be engraved or printed with your logo. Add the set to a creative team onboarding kit, where the floral design and artist-led concept feel considered rather than generic. The soft graphite is suited to sketching, journaling, and everyday notes, giving recipients a useful tool and an invitation to make something. For designers, writers, and other creative teams, Volume 143 brings art history and daily work together in one compact gift.
